Happy Release Day, Alanea Alder!

Hey y'all!  I'm sure by now y'all have figured out that I kinda like Alanea Alder. *grin*  I'm not sure WHAT gave it away.  LOL  Maybe the fact that all of her Kindred of Arkadia Series Books are on my blog??? Hmmm, yeah...that's probably it.  LOL  Well....have I got EXCITING news for y'all!  Not only is Alanea writing those hot, scrumptious, funny, sexy as hell Arkadia books that are published from Siren, but she is also writing as an INDIE AUTHOR too!  WOOT WOOT!

We're celebrating the release of her first INDIE book, MY COMMANDER, today!  *squeeeee*  This is Book 1 in her Bewitched and Bewildered Series.  Y'all know what that means?  It means there's going to be MORE books!  *happy happy dancing*  HEY....don't give me those eye rolls...I can't help it that I dance goofy!  *snort*

Ok...enough messing around...let's get serious.  Here's a little bit about the series, and a little bit about MY COMMANDER.

Bewitched and Bewildered Series...

She’s been Bewitched and he’s Bewildered… 

When the topic of grandchildren comes up during a weekly sewing circle the matriarchs of the founding families seek out the witch Elder to scry to see if their sons have mates. They are shocked to discover that many of their son’s mates are out in the world and are human! 

Fearing that their future daughter in laws will end up dead before being claimed and providing them with grandchildren to spoil, they convince their own mates that something must be done. After gathering all of the warriors together in a fake award ceremony the witch Elder casts a spell to pull the warrior’s mates to them, whether they want it or not. 

Each book will revolve around a unit warrior member finding their destined mate and the challenges and dangers they face in trying to uncover the reason why ferals are working together for the first time in their history to kill off members of the paranormal community.

 

My Commander...

Aiden McKenzie is adamant that he doesn’t need a mate and that she would only get in the way. He doesn’t have time to coddle a female. He likes his world run with military precision. Little does he realize Fate is sending him his mate first! He meets his destined mate Meryn Evans and things go downhill from there.  She is the embodiment of chaos. In the first twenty-four hours she kicks, screams and knocks her bear shifting mate unconscious.  

Eventually they discover that life before finding each other may have been good, but life afterwards is perfect, even if it involves super soaker battles and accidentally discharging hand grenades. 

Unfortunately the joy of their mating is overshadowed when Aiden and Meryn find themselves embroiled in a missing persons case assigned to Aiden by the Lycaonian Council. By assisting Aiden, Meryn finds herself the focus of a demented killer. 

Can Aiden and the elite warriors from the Alpha Unit keep Meryn safe? Or did Fate bring her to Lycaonia to die?

Ignoring her comment, and what had to be her obvious discomfort, Ryan stepped forward, leaned over her to balance his shot glass about two inches under her navel. Heather always put it at the base of her ribcage, so a little would spill into her navel, but Ryan had put his lower. Her muscles contracted, as the cold glass touched her skin and heat zinged through her as she thought about him licking her ...up to the glass, before taking the shot.



The amber liquid sloshed in the glass, and he frowned. "No spilling, Twy, or there will be consequences." His eyes met hers and his pupils were dilated almost as large as the blue irises. His breathing came in short spurts, and she could see his pulse pounding at the side of his throat. The look on his handsome face said he would relish delivering those consequences. "By the time I’m done, I’ll really need that drink."
 


A shiver worked itself up her body from her toes, and the glass wobbled. She gasped and contracted her muscles to steady it. Agitation bristled through her. "Why don’t you just have the damned shot then, and get on with this?" That’s what she really wanted.
 


His hand clamped on her ankle, and he grinned. "Patience is a virtue, darlin’. Slow is not always a bad thing, and I’m about to teach you that, and a lot more." His voice was heavy with anticipation, and his sensual threat was punctuated by his tongue making a trip around his hot lips.



Her eyes followed it around and heat sizzled along her nerves to singe her at the apex of her thighs. Maybe this is why all those bunnies she saw leaving his trailer were smiling. They must have had the patience he was talking about, and liked that Ryan was slow as a turtle in his lovemaking. Twyla wasn’t sold on it yet, but deciding to try to find the patience he asked her to have, she a huffed a breath then relaxed and uncurled her fists.



What the hell did she know about all this, anyway? She was green as grass at this, he knew what he was doing. Had done it many times. Too many. "Get on with it, then," she grumbled, settling her focus on keeping that shot glass steady on her lower abdomen.
 


Ryan’s dark head appeared in her line of vision, and Twyla gasped. His eyes met hers over the plane of her tummy, and were filled with mischief and purpose. His hot breath tickled her thighs when he warned, "Keep it still, Twyla. No spilling."
 


He slid his hands, behind her calves, and under her thighs to hold her hands at her sides, then turned his face and he planted a wet kiss on her inner thigh. His mouth latched there and he sucked, while his tongue swirled on her skin. Fire zipped up to her core, her muscles contracted, and Twyla whimpered. The glass wobbled and she knew right then that she was in big trouble.

 OH...MY...GAWD!!!  Now don't y'all want HIM, (LOOK UP) licking of YOUR body????
